Day 290: The great cookie philosopher

In college they tried to teach us about life. They taught us philosophy from men long since dead and buried, in the hopes that it could be applied in a futile effort at making sense of the world we would inherit.
We struggled through Plato, Socrates and Sartre only to find that in the end they no more had the answers to the meaning of life than we did. I have come to the conclusion that those little Keebler Elfs, merrily making cookies in their magical little tree, hold the only philosophy that really makes any sense to me. As every child knows, the wisest of the Sesame Street characters was always Cookie Monster. As this great furry truth-sayer was fond of saying, C is for cookie and cookies good for me.
So, put the complexities of the world aside for a moment and have a cookie.
